The awesome life of; Richard Branson

Make a better world, he does; Richard Charles Nicholas Branson born on July 18 1950 in London is a British businessman, founder of the Virgin Group. Virgin Group is a UK holding company, owned and founded by eccentric billionaire Richard Branson. The Virgin Group consists of about 200 diverse enterprises.

Branson became his Virgin Records label when he was a student. The first record, made by multi-instrumentalist Mike Oldfield, immediately scored a hit worldwide. Later, the label released work of groups like Genesis, the Sex Pistols and Culture Club. Branson also started the Virgin Airline Company.

Branson has several times unsuccessfully tried to fly around the world in a balloon. The balloon, the “Virgin Atlantic Flyer”, was the first balloon that once crossed the Atlantic.
