Sports you do for several reasons: for prevention, for fun, relaxation, energy or health. For people in particular that last reason, there is good news.

Depending on your goals you most likely train several times a week. Rightly an inexhaustible condition and a sculpted body, not just develop by itself. However, if you sport for health reasons, it appears that once a week strenuous exercising is enough.

Health considerations should be interpreted in this case as preventing premature death. The World Health Organization insists for years the importance of sport and highlights here several times a week. Research published in the NRC,showed that repetition is not really necessary: once a week intensive exercise is just as effective.
